Laura & Ben - August 2019

Bright, bold and colourful was the (flower) order of the day when Laura and Ben were married at the Carriage Hall back in August. Gorgeous colours to match a lovely summer's day!

For her bridal bouquet, Laura chose a mix of Roses, English Roses, Waxflower, Lisianthus and Eucalyptus in pinks, yellows, purples and greens - this looked fantastic against the white of her wedding dress! The bridesmaid's bouquets used similar flowers but in shades of purple to match their dresses, and for the flower girl a basket of brightly coloured flowers, which twinned with the bride's bouquet. Wired Gypsophila was also used in the bridesmaid's and flower girl's hair.

The gents' buttonholes echoed the above with bright yellow Roses, plus purple Lisianthus buds just for Ben. For the Mum's, white Roses and Waxflower.

At their venue, lanterns - on hire from us - were dotted down the aisle during the ceremony. The couple chose a Eucalyptus swag, with added coloured flowers dotted in-between, to use on both the Registrar's table and then the top table during the reception. More Eucalyptus was used to decorate the ladder table plan and also the hall shelf at the end of aisle.

For their centrepieces, three different sized bottles and jars, with a mix of brightly coloured flowers to match the bridal party in each, were placed on a wood slice (also on hire from us) per table. Finally, additional small hand tied posies were used on each tier to decorate the cake.
